The reinforced bottom and handles of the Hurricane Bag can support up to 25 pounds while the 120GSM non-woven polypropylene material is able to handle regular use.
These bags are actually certified reusable. This distinction is provided by CalRecycle and ensures that these bags are able to hold up given regular use. This certification ensures the bags will provide dependable use for your customers and consistently market your business.
In order to be awarded the distinction of certified reusable, a bag must meet the following requirements:
- Have a handle
- Support at least 125 uses
- Feature a minimum volume capacity of 15 liters or about four gallons
- Must be machine washable or able to be cleaned and disinfected
- Information regarding the manufacturer’s name, country, the number of uses the bag can support, and recycling instructions must be printed on the bag or on a tag attached to the bag
